Youth Corner

Away We Go Youth Travel Camp is a nonprofit organization designed to promote global education through cultural exchange, language exposure and educational travel experiences.

The camp will facilitate year-round travel for middle and high school youths.

The program will form partnerships with local schools.

Our Mission
To inspire character development and self discovery
To inspire cultural understanding around the world
To Inspire a sense of how one person can create a better world
Our Goals

To provide a positive intervention through travel for youths who face a turbulent transition to adulthood
To help students experience and understand other cultures firsthand
To motivate the student to travel outside the box as well as think outside the box

Our Purpose

To provide a medium through which the School District can take students beyond the classroom into the wonderful world of travel
To provide creative travel experiences for middle and high school students
To create an ongoing mentoring experience for youth participants

Our Promise

We promise to provide educational travel
experiences to young people and help them build strong
communication skills and greater sense of
hope for the future.

Prerequisites

Ages 13-18
Students must attend a Philadelphia School
Pre-Post writing assignment
Letter of recommendation from teacher/counselor
